Council of Cluj-Napoca Municipality
We extend the deadline for non-governmental organizations to join the Youth Advisory Council until 16 November!
The Youth Advisory Council of Cluj-Napoca Municipality is inviting to join student organizations, youth organizations or youth organizations addressed to young people in the city. Membership can be realized by filling in the following online form: https://forms.gle/QCwNV2vxAcLi96KK8, adapted in such a way that the membership process is simple.
To join, non-governmental organizations must meet certain conditions:
– to be a youth and youth non-governmental organization established in accordance with the legal provisions in force;
– to have their registered office/head office/branch in Cluj-Napoca;
– to have been active in youth work in the municipality of Cluj-Napoca in the last calendar year;
– it is not bankrupt or being wound up, insolvent or in receivership;
– not be organizationally dependent on a company/public institution or a group of companies/public institutions;
– be apolitical.
About the Youth Advisory Council:
The Youth Consultative Council of Cluj-Napoca is an associative structure, which currently brings together 30 student, youth and youth organizations in our city. The aim of the Council is, as its name suggests, to consult young people from Cluj on the various public policies in the field of youth, as well as to encourage them to formulate their own initiatives.
The members of the structure are assisted by a body of experts in the area of youth programs and public policies, who guide the participants in their efforts to take initiatives and make informed decisions.
The Youth Centre in Cluj-Napoca, inaugurated in January 2023, in the presence of the leaders of youth organizations, is the preferred venue for the Council meetings. So far there have been debates and plenary sessions, attended by young people from non-governmental organizations, our experts and representatives of local public authorities, with topics from the fields of education, culture, employment, health, sport, innovation, volunteering and others.
Youth structures without legal personality will be able to join the Youth Advisory Council as permanent guests.
